Re: 2010/2011 Curling Season

On behalf of the board & staff, I would like to invite everyone back for another fantastic season of curling.


ENTRY FORM:


∞    Like in past years the teams currently in the league have the first opportunity to register for that league.  They have until Thursday, September 23rd.  On Friday, September 24th, we will open it up to new and other teams.
∞    The team standings from the past season will dictate the division A or B for the first half of the season.  For a new team, the management will recommend A or B division based on experience and skill level.  When there is not the required number of teams to form two divisions, the league will play under one division.
∞    No team, No problem, enter as an individual and we will do our best to find you a team.

BBQ & REGISTRATION NIGHT:

∞    Thursday September 23th from 5pm to 8pm.  BBQ and Registration.  Bring your team and have a burger on us.


FEES & LEAGUES:

∞    A small increase of approximately $0.50 per game ($10.00 per player), then discounted for the shortened season
∞    See attached entry form.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

∞    Payment in full upon registration (no administration fee).
∞    Payment Plan ($10.00 administration fee).
1st payment 25% upon registration plus admin. fee: of $102nd payment due October 15th: 25%
3rd payment due November 15th: 50% (remaining)

∞    Please visit our new look web site (www.reddeercurling.ca) for all of this years information, schedules, calendar of events and fees.

FUN & AFFORDABLE:

 ∞     NO increase in drink prices.

OPEN HOUSE:

∞    Open House will be on October 4th – 6th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Bring a friend and introduce them to this fantastic game of curling.  Bring a new curler to the Red Deer Curling Centre for the season and receive a $20.00 Gift Certificate.

FALL MEETING:

∞    The Fall Meeting will be held on Thursday October 7th at 6:00 pm.  Everyone Welcome!
NOTE:  Thursday October 7th at 7:00 pm curling starts.

CLINICS:

∞    Check the flyer or website for dates and times. 

LEARN TO CURL:

∞    Adult Learn to Curl Instructional League will be held on Friday from 5:45 – 7:15 pm October – December .  Only $70.00 per person per session.  TELL SOMEONE!

HELP WANTED:

∞    Wade requires help with the ice and minor cleaning duties around the Curling Centre.  This is a casual part-time paid position.  Contact Wade at 346-3777.
∞    There are positions open for Bar Tenders.  Call 346-3777 and talk to Eldon.
∞    A Janitorial position is open.
