2010 RED DEER CURLING CLASSIC (RDCC)
WELCOME CURLERS
The 2010 Red Deer Curling Classic will run from Friday, November 5th to Monday, November 8th. A total of 32 Ladies’ Teams and 24 Men’s Teams will be competing for $66,000 in prize money, and valuable CTRS points.
Four days of Fabulous Food, Fantastic Hospitality, Great Curling, and a chance to dance or party the night away in the Shot Rock Saloon.
In the past, the teams from the previous year have first chance to enter.
1. Those teams that DID NOT play in the “09” RDCC and wish to play in the
2010 RDCC, ENTER NOW!!!!
2. This will be based on a **1st - COME – 1st SERVED** with priority given
to those on the 2009 wait list.
** The committee will have the option of team placement.
** If a team has split-up, the rule of any “3 of 4” will retain their place. If 2 or less apply, they will be added to the wait list.

For your convenience, below are several locations for you to enjoy your stay in Red Deer. You will want to book your accommodations early. The defending Ladies and Men’s champions have two rooms each reserved at the Red Deer Lodge at no expense to either team. Those champions must register with the Red Deer Lodge on their own.

If your team is flying into Calgary or Edmonton, you will need to notify us regarding travel arrangements. Please complete the attached form and return it to us as soon as your travel plans have been finalized. A courtesy vehicle will be arranged to pick up your team as the airport.
Registration packages can be picked up an hour in advance of your draw at the Red Deer Curling Centre’s front counter. Locker assignments and event information will be in your package.
Monday, November 8th
• 9:00 am – Men’s Quarter Finals
• 9:00 am – Ladies Quarter Finals
• 12:00 pm – Men’s & Ladies Semi-Finals
• 3:00 pm – Men’s & Ladies Finals!
Immediately following the finals, there will be an ice presentation of cheques and pictures for the First place teams in each event.
(Note: Teams must be present and stay in uniform for prize presentations and photos.)
